Abstract

The Green Movement Campaign is a persuasive movement that aims to build public awareness to care the environment more. This movement is usually manifested by tree planting, an invitation to limit tree felling, reduce plastic waste, reduce the use of chemicals that disrupt the environment, and so forth. The purpose of this movement is to create more green environment, so that it is expected to be able to minimize disasters that may arise. Thus, disaster mitigation does not only stop disaster response actions, but also creates more green environment to reduce the impact of disasters that potentially reappear. In line with government programs to realize disaster resilient villages, the green movement is an effort to support disaster risk reduction which is a specific goal of a resilient village program. With the implementation of the green movement, at least the community knows and continuously applies the efforts needed to realize the Green Environment so that it is expected to reduce the impact of disasters that potentially reappear.
